Ineke Leusink (account manager HBX natural living): “A customer in Brabant I visited said: “Your products are practically invisible and is mainly among the collections of your colleagues. What you also miss is a brand label on the products, so that you get more brand awareness among consumers.’
With that information, we then got to work. After several internal brainstorms and with the collaboration of interior builder Kees de Haan, the design of the shop-in-shop was put on paper. Our first shop-in-shop in the Netherlands was at the garden center in question that gave us the tip. After a few months of trial run, we were convinced: the shop-in-shop was a great success! Many garden centers have seen our first Dutch shop in the garden center, which has ensured that there are now several shops in Holland as well as abroad.”
